Presenter:
Martin Caicedo holds a master´s degree in English Language Teaching for Self-Directed Learning from Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia), a graduate diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Anaheim University (USA) and a specialization in Educational Management from Universidad de San Buenaventura (Colombia). With more than 19 years of experience in the English Language Teaching (ELT) field, Martin has held positions such as schoolteacher and university professor, academic director for the binational center Centro Colombo Americano (Pereira), head of the English Department at Liceo Taller San Miguel (Pereira), national program coordinator for the Ministry of National Education’s Colombia Bilingüe program, among others. He currently works as regional assessment specialist for Oxford University Press in Latin America as well as adjunct professor at the Master’s Program in Didactics of English at Universidad de Caldas (Colombia). He has extensive experience in teacher training in Spain, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru and Chile.
